Born from a gospel choir director in Texas, Helmer Noel has never known a world without music. Before he could even put words together the depth of soul choruses and heart-pulling chords shaped the way Helmer interacted the world.

After a coming of age into aimless pursuits and global pandemic, Helmer left his life on the east coast behind to find his voice. From star-gazing in national forests to a spiritual awakening with Buddhist monks, Helmer found his new home in Spokane, Washington. Here he has teamed up with regional songwriter and producer Logan McDonald to bring the world the beauty and mysticism Helmer has experienced through music. City of Arrows is Helmer Noel's first project. It takes on the realities of change, the pursuit of more, and realizing potential. This EP, available on all streaming platforms 1.22.2023, is an ethereal pop-vignette of the spark pushing him to find his purpose.
